Set on a privileged plot of land that allows for magnificent views over the bay of Kalafatis, villa Titan is a stylish 210sq.m. 4 bedroom residence that belongs to a complex of three independent vacation homes.
Taking inspiration from the landscape's dramatic contradictions, the structure is a handsome blend of rugged and refined. The dwelling's brilliant white exterior is partially covered in stone, making it seem like it has emerged out of its setting.
Perpetually infatuated with the magnificent vistas of the Aegean, the architect fitted the terrace with comfortable lounging/ dining spots, an open-air kitchen, and a gorgeous infinity pool, all oriented toward a seascape that keeps changing as the day goes by.
Under the traditional exterior are contemporary living areas meticulously designed to convey a sense of sophistication and relaxation at the same time. Minimal to a fault, the indoor spaces boast concrete floorings and a uniform white palette that is complemented by discrete details in black and blue.
A few wooden and wicker details node to the house's natural surroundings. There is a deliberate lack of ornaments here that serves a dual purpose: to acknowledge the fact that the landscape is the only protagonist in this scene and to inspire a sense of absolute tranquility without unnecessary distractions.
All around the house, windows and glass doors are used to connect the interior to the terraces and offer different views of the setting. The house comprises two levels: the ground level features a light-filled living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a bedroom with an independent entrance, and a bathroom, while the other three bedrooms and four bathrooms are located on the lower level.
